Spire St Anthony’s have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bank Physiotherapy Assistant to join our Temporary Staffing Bank at our hospital located in Sutton.
Spire St Anthony's is a large private hospital providing an extensive range of treatments and services. We're dedicated to providing quality treatment and aftercare and we offer our patients fast and flexible access to diagnosis and treatment - from routine operations to complex surgery.
Based in Sutton, we care for patients within Surrey and South London surrounding areas. We are close to the A3 and M25 and the area has excellent public transport services.
Duties and responsibilities
- Provide support to the Physio team
- Help with the efficient running of Hydrotherapy rehabilitation pool sessions
- Provide a high level of customer service to all patients, consultants and hospital teams
- Maintain an efficient bookings system for all physiotherapy patients, using a computerised system
- Assess the health and wellbeing needs of people whose needs are relatively stable and consistent
- Help to maintain high standards of cleanliness in the Physio department
Who we're looking for
- Be organised and methodical in your work and have good communication skills
- Have experience as a Physiotherapy Assistant or have a similar background e.g. sport science
- Flexible and good reliability
- NVQ in Healthcare is desirable
