About the role
We are currently looking for a Contracts Manager to lead the compilation of all major tender packs alongside the Project Management team, based in our Edinburgh Office.

What You Will Do

Lead the compilation of all major tender packs with support from Project Management team, approving all tender packs before issue
Review tender returns and work in conjunction with Legal support and project management to negotiate final contractual position
Review, input, and approve final recommendation paper on major procurement contracts
Supervise contract execution to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
Support project and construction managers by taking the lead in contractual claim assessment and negotiation.
Support project and construction managers (PM & CM) with contract administration.
Implement lessons learned process for continuous contractual improvements.
Maintain, update, and improve contractual records.

What You Bring

Experience drafting, negotiating and administering Balance of Plant, wind turbine, solar EPC, ICP, grid, or other multi-million pound contracts.
Experience managing various contract forms (FIDIC,NEC3 etc.).
Exceptional negotiation skills.
Strong research skills and an in-depth understanding of financial analytics and legal agreements.
Strong presentation skills.
Attention to detail, thoroughness and mathematical abilities.
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Law, Construction Management or similar qualification.
A good understanding of renewable project delivery.
High degree of self-responsibility and flexibility.
Logical thinker and clear communicator with solid interpersonal skills.
Fluent spoken and written business English.
Strong IT skills.
