TEMPORARY, FIXED TERM FOR 6 MONTHS

Aberdeen, Clayhills

An opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and committed person to join our Servicing Team at Aberdeen Clayhills Service Delivery Depot as a Band C Support.

Reporting to the Team Leader, you will contribute to achieving the contractual workload within specified production target downtimes, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Previous experience in the servicing environment is essential.

The position is based on local shift pattern, which involves dayshifts & nightshifts – you must be available to work both.

The Band C will support and guide the Band C servicing team on shift to ensure safe maintenance of all rolling stock that passes through the Depot from all our 3rd party customers (Scotrail / Caledonian Sleeper / Hitcahi) at Clayhills depot.

What will you do

You will be involved in....

  • Cleaning our fantastic fleet of trains to an exceptional standard, covering both standard and first class.
  • You will be expected to ensure COSHH and health & safety regulations are upheld at all times.
  • You will take pride in helping us to deliver an exceptional customer experience onboard our trains
  • Lead the team, taking ownership & accountability.

What do we need you to be?

You will have the desire to work proudly as part of a specialist team who work tirelessly behind the scenes to give our customers the best rail experience across the UK.

The Essentials

To be successful in this role, we need you to have the following:

  • You will have experience in a cleaning role previously
  • You will be happy working shift patterns during the week working a total of 35 hours.
  • Experience & knowledge of COSHH is essential
  • A strong understanding of health & safety regulations within a depot environment
  • Strong ambition to provide guidance & leadership
