Job description
Pulse is now recruiting for a new role in an innovative NHS trust based in Ilford, Essex. The practice requires a Band 3 Occupational Therapy Assistant to join the team as soon as possible. Candidates applying will be qualified in Occupational Therapy and be available to work full-time hours.
This dynamic post requires the post holder to work closely with multi-disciplinary teams/agencies in addressing a range of care/support issues across the spectrum of conditions, preventing unnecessary hospital admissions, and improving the health and well-being of the population served.
Duties within the role will include:
- Help clients to follow a treatment plan that has been developed with the occupational therapist to help with everyday activities
- Maintain client records by recording progress
- Keep track of supplies and stock
- Provide any required support to the occupational therapists
