Extraordinary lives. Outstanding people.
The life of every resident we proudly care for is extraordinary, rich in history and unique life stories. We are Caring Homes, one of the UK’s leading providers of nursing, residential and dementia care. We have 69 homes in beautiful locations nationwide and we’re still growing. And we know that genuine care is delivered by passionate people who go above and beyond to help every resident live life to the full.
As an Administrator you’ll go above and beyond to support residents and colleagues with administrative tasks, to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Home. Keeping things ticking away nicely in the background is so important in helping us do what we do best, delivering outstanding care to our residents and their families. You are an organised person with a keen eye for detail and at Caring Homes, your passion for people, planning and providing a first-class service will make a difference to every resident you care for, and build a future you can be proud of.
About the role
In this role, you’ll provide administrative support to the Manager, performing a variety of tasks from diary management, to ensuring that the correct paperwork is in place for residents prior to admission. Your friendliness and professionalism will reassure residents and colleagues that they are in safe hands with you, you get the job done! And your efficiency will help make what can be a difficult time that bit easier. You’ll care about the details, have a hard-working attitude, be well organised and thorough. And in return you will work in a stunning location, as part of one team of dedicated people, who love what they do. And with first class training and development opportunities and an exceptional and extensive benefits package, this is a great opportunity for the right person.
The skills you’ll need
In this role you’ll need to be adaptable to the variety of tasks you’ll need to carry out day to day. Whether that’s advising new residents on the fee-paying process, helping organise training for new colleagues, or maintaining confidential filing systems. You’ll need to be compassionate and patient, a real people person and respectful of our residents and their families’ individual needs, balancing passion for efficiency with genuine care. You’ll be practical and pride yourself on performing tasks to the highest standard. You’ll need experience in a busy administration role.
Above and beyond
If you share a passion for going above and beyond in your work you’ll find a business that will go above and beyond for you to help you develop more in your role, with first class training and qualifications to enhance your career with us. And as a business that specialises in dementia care, everyone who works here is offered our award-winning dementia training.
