Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity to recruit Band 2 Housekeeping operatives to join our busy Housekeeping Department at Solihull Hospital.
We are looking for individuals who are fully committed to providing a very high standard of work to support the needs of the Trust and to meet the high cleaning standards required to provide a safe environment for the care of our patients.
If you have the relevant experience and knowledge of the cleaning industry and you are an effective communicator then we would like to hear from you.
Positions available:
- Monday - Friday 14.00 - 22.00 (37.5hr per week) x2
- Monday- Friday 1600-2200 (30hrs per week) x1
- Monday- Friday 08.00 - 16.00 (37.5hrs per week) x2
- Wednesday - Sunday 08.00 - 16.00 (37.5hrs per week) x1
Various bank positions shifts available.
Main duties, tasks & skills required
The successful candidates will be part of the team required to carry out cleaning and associated duties as specified in the Job description. This role covers the cleaning of all areas including clinical, residential, office, corridor and all entrances; delivering this service to the very highest standards whilst maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for patients and staff at all times.
Successful candidates will ensure cleaning duties are conducted to the highest standard as per the NHS National Standard of Healthcare Cleanliness.
