So what’s the job all about?
Responsible for supporting the training function within the bakery and across departments as advised. Setting standards and providing instructions on Induction, GMP, Quality, H&S, training of critical control points and supporting the Buddy and LSW initiatives.
Knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential.
- Conducting inductions to new starters both generic Company and departmental and upskilling trainers to cover
- Ensuring core skills are trained in a timely manner to new starters and assessed at appropriate intervals. This includes L2 food safety, manual handling and appropriate H&S tool box talks
- Maintaining high standards of communication with Managers, Team Leaders and colleagues, leading Stakeholder meetings and supporting the gap analysis
- Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed in an accurate and timely manner and uploaded onto the Learner Management System
- Develop and promote a Health & Safety culture
- Provide off the job training and sign off on CCP areas
- Support the audit process and provide and explain evidence to external auditors
- Work closely with stakeholders to carry out risk assessments and ensure SOP / SSOW training takes place by working with the bakery trainers and creating daily / weekly plans
- Ensure all colleagues understand and are signed off on all procedures to ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety and operational ways of working
- Train, coach and support the Buddy programme
- Record all training on trackers so it can be used for compliance and monthly kpi’s
- Liaise with the Training Coordinator on the timing and delivery of programmes over and above bakery compliance
Night shift available – Thursday – Monday (£628.89 p/w)
