As part of Associated British Foods who are one of Britain’s leading companies, we at Allied Milling and Baking produce and deliver freshly baked bread and many other delicious items to our customers every day! We have a great opportunity for keen and enthusiastic people to join our Manufacturing team producing Kingsmill bread at our London Bakery based in Walthamstow. We're looking for people to safely and efficiently operate and optimise bakery plant and equipment on a 4 on 4 off shift, working both days and nights. By working with others, you will achieve high levels of performance and quality standards; this will be founded on a culture of continuous improvement, development and learning. The successful candidate will not only make the product but will have an opportunity to develop into a fully qualified Manufacturing Technician in 6 months-time with the opportunity to earn over £34k per annum!

If you like the sound of the role and preferably have some previous exposure to food manufacturing or other fast-moving environments, have a good logical approach to fault finding, have good manual dexterity, reading, writing and numerical skills who is willing to work at a pace while demonstrating a high level of health and safety awareness, then we would love to hear from you.

Key Accountabilities

This job will be full time working on 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern covering both days and nights and at weekends and on Bank Holidays.
