Warehouse Manager Manchester, England
Job description
Working out of a Stockport based site we are seeking an experienced warehouse manager to join our fast expanding business. Someone who can work in a team and work individually would be a perfect fit. Strong leadership skills are crucial. Experienced in managing a large workforce and successfully delegating's tasks where priority is needed. This is a hands on position which will require involvement in day to day operations of the warehouse.
Experience working in a fast paced warehouse is required.
Minimum 2 Years Experience warehousing.
Responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse, achieving required KPIs
- Operating FLT's in a controlled manner
- Loading and offloading of deliveries when required
- Manning a production line
- General housekeeping duties during downtimes.
- Enforcing health and safety. First aid training is mandatory.
- Ensuring shelves are stocked with adequate amount of products within the warehouse.
- Ensuring Packages are correctly labelled prior to dispatching
- Opportunities to aid in the manufacturing of products.
A valid forklift truck license is essential.
Use of basic office software is mandatory. Chemical background is desirable but not essential.
Standard working hours - 9AM - 5PM.

Salary: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
