Who We Are?
Dendara is a free-from (no gluten, dairy, or refined sugar) wholefood bakery and deli for everyone that offers low sugar and vegan friendly options. We make artisan tarts, quiche, hand pies and cakes, as well as, fresh seasonal salads from the purest locally sourced ingredients.

We served in Farmers Markets in Kensington area and catered since October 2022 with a lot of love from our customers and a high demand for our products that we are keen to meet. We are looking to grow our team for our first store location in Kensington. Therefore, your presence will be essential and we hope you’re ready to expand and grow alongside us both personally and professionally.
Hours & Shifts:
We are looking to hire 1 person for an 8-hour night shift from Monday to Friday from 10:00pm-6:00am. You will be responsible for opening and closing the kitchen after your shift.
This is a Full-time Permanent position.
Your Role:
As a Baker your duties are:
- Rolling and shaping of pastry
- Making and assembling fillings and toppings
- Making baked goods such as layered cakes, cookies, etc.
- Decoration of baked goods
- Roasting our prepped vegetables and assembling salads to be ready for the display counter
- Making all recipes to standards and managing production
- Consistently review and deliver improvements in both process efficiencies and product quality in the bakery
- Ensure the highest standards of food hygiene and follow health & safety guidelines with responsibility for the bakery
- Stock control, scheduling & ordering
We are looking for an ardent baker that is skilled whether through experience at a commercial bakery or kitchen or from home baking. A minimum of two years of experience working in a commercial bakery or kitchen is advantageous.
What is required of you:
- Able to do night shifts
- Commitment to stay aligned with our standards of production and hygiene - it is required of you to keep your space clean and tidy at all times as you operate and clean end of shift
- Have a basic food hygiene certificate (or be prepared to get one)
- An interest in experimenting in free-from and low to no sugar baking and pushing boundaries to innovate
- Efficiency to work independently and effectively
- Have and present the correct right to work documents for working in the UK to be employed
