What you’ll do


The Partner Solution Architect within the Wholesale team is a technical authority for the E2E solutions of the Vodafone UK Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNO) partners.


The role holder is responsible for designing end to end solutions for the evolution of MVNO partner capabilities in alignment with Vodafone architectural principles, and then working with UK and Group technology functions to deliver those designs on behalf of and in alignment with the MVNO partners. Key accountabilities include:


  • Leading end to end solution design activities for new/enhanced products and capabilities that provide business advantage to the Wholesale business function and MVNO partners.
  • Leading virtual Vodafone technical teams across all impacted Business and Technology areas to drive approved design delivery.
  • Assessing the impacts of technology designs on Wholesale/MVNO business and capabilities. Providing guidance on these solutions to ensure alignment with MVNO architectures. Influencing changes to organisation, process, and technology accordingly.
  • Working with the Wholesale team, the Vodafone Technology teams and representatives from the Partner organisation to ensure solution designs deliver agreed scope using Vodafone UK design methodologies.
  • Building rapport with the various 3rd party vendors and Vodafone Design and Delivery teams to assure cost-effective and efficient design, testing and integration of in/outsourced partner deliverables.

Who you are


  • Experience of leading the solution/design for E2E projects, touching multiple domains.
  • Track record of solution design, ideally crossing between IT and Core Networks.
  • Broad comprehensive knowledge of IT and Core Network systems, and how they are adapted for MVNO partner solutions.
  • Skilled communicator with the ability to simplify the complex.
  • Naturally curious and willing to expand existing knowledge.
  • Technical management of third-party delivery partners is desirable.
