Job Introduction Heritage Portfolio are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Baker to join the team at our Central Production Kitchen in Leith, Edinburgh. Under the guidance of our Head Baker, this role requires the candidate to assist our Bakery with the production of traybakes, biscuits, muffins, mini loaves and large decorated cakes, as well as producing speciality afternoon tea products.
With an emphasis on fresh, seasonal, made from scratch cooking, our in-house Bakery is responsible for providing our retail venues across Edinburgh and Dundee with a wide range of sweet treats. The ideal candidate for this role will have a sound knowledge and passion for baking, as well as previous experience working in a similar environment.

- be organised and adaptable with the ability to support all aspects within the Bakery
- be motivated and excellent at working as part of a team
- be able to follow recipes and specifications to ensure quality as standard
- to maintain a focus on food allergens at all times
- support the Head Baker to ensure that all Health & Safety and Food Safety working practises are carried out at all times
- have a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate
- ability to multitask and work to specific time frames agreed
