About You
PLEASE NOTE: We will be hiring two people for this role.
As a key member of the MTIF technical team you will work on the future developments of new and emerging technologies in the areas of cell biology and genomics relating to healthcare which include biomaterials, regenerative medicines, cell and gene therapies and omics technologies. This will involve working closely with both internal and external experts and also working closely with commercial partners as these therapies and techniques push the boundaries in healthcare.
Principal duties and responsibilities: MTIF has facilities at both Clifton and Beeston Nottingham and you will be required to work at either site depending upon client needs using the latest cutting edge specialist instrumentation and sector leading expertise.

MTIF is a purpose built, dual-site facility focussing on MedTech developments and innovations). We are looking for Biological and Genomic Scientist who is an enthusiastic and motivated individual who will focus on the future developments of new and emerging technologies in the areas of cell biology and genomics relating to healthcare which include biomaterials, regenerative medicines, cell and gene therapies and omics technologies. Working with leading scientists from the university and other institutions you will assist our customers to take new cell therapies from “bench to bedside”. This is a great opportunity to build a unique capability in a unique facility that will accelerate the development of innovative medical technologies and improving the lives of patients around the world.
