BioTe Veterinary Laboratories (www.biote.vet) is a veterinary diagnostic laboratory based in Wilton, near Salisbury. We provide a broad range of tests, predominantly to equine veterinary practices around the UK.
We are seeking an enthusiastic microbiologist / lab technician to join our expanding team.
The ideal candidate would have experience working in a veterinary laboratory or a medical diagnostic background. They will be proficient in diagnostic bacteriology (including identification of bacterial organisms and following procedures), and capable of independent working.
Other areas such as qPCR, haematology, cytology and serology is desirable, but not essential.
The role is Monday - Friday with 1:2 Saturday mornings required. Bank holidays on rota may also be required. Part time candidates will be considered.
BSc in a relevant field or relevant experience required.
