As our client base continues to grow, we are looking for a Senior Developer to join our Web Development team. We are looking for an excellent Web Developer to work as one of our technical leads. Skills, knowledge and experience…
You will work across a number of our key client accounts managing website development integrated with Fresh Egg’s other services. Ensuring they are optimised for user experience and conversion by making sure that their information architecture is carefully considered. In addition, you will be developing and maintaining .NET Core and .NET standard based web applications, including Umbraco / GraphQL & bespoke in-house software.
Key responsibilities
· Developing and maintaining .NET core and .NET standard based web applications, including Umbraco/GraphQL & bespoke in-house software
· Mentoring and supporting team members enabling them to achieve their performance targets. Driving consistent standards and approaches throughout the team
· Demonstrate knowledge of website development integrated with Fresh Egg’s other services, optimising for user experience and conversion by ensuring that their information architecture is carefully considered
· Keep up to date with the latest web development technologies and techniques
· Maintain our USP of being an ‘integrated solution’ (i.e. SEO, Insight, Content, Web Development, Design and Social) as the core differentiator
· Produce and oversee development quotes, analysis & specifications to make sure they are complete and accurate
· Support the business development team with pre-sale activities, contributing to RFPs where appropriate and assisting in large pitches to potential clients where required
· Oversee the technical strategy and implementation of our own internal development stream activities – to make sure they apply to the same standards that we would expect for client work
· Provide training and workshops for clients and/or staff as required as well as lead and input into client meetings as required
What you will have:
· Experience working with .Net core and .Net, Umbraco, GraphQL and inhouse software
· Comfortable with hands-on development work as well as the creation and delivery of high-quality strategy to present to stakeholders.
· Good understanding and proven experience in developing and building ASP.Net and ASP.Net websites as well as experience of deployments of new builds, feature updates, staging and live environments.
· Confident running workshops or meetings with senior stakeholders to gather requirements, with the ability to translate findings into technical requirements
· Good working knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Good knowledge and experience across our digital channels and disciplines
- At least five years of Website Development experience
- Agency experience is preferred however, not essential
- Excellent planning and organisation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build a strong rapport with clients, key stakeholders and internal teams
- Good presentation skills and experience of facilitating - and leading where required - client meetings and workshops
- Ability to motivate, inspire and collaborate effectively.
- Ability to drive performance and clearly measure impact across all recommended activity
