About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Control Manager, as Crew Controller you’ll be responsible for supervising and maintaining the safe, compliant and efficient delivery of our crew rosters to support the Operations Controllers in delivering our punctuality promise. You’ll be responsible for coordinating mandatory & Company training requirements for all crew, managing the daily administration of rosters, organising crew travel and accommodation and on-going legality checks to ensure compliance with the Company flight time limitations scheme.
The Operations Control Centre operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and this role is 28 day rolling 12-hour day-shift pattern including days and nights.
About You
We're looking for someone with previous experience of managing crew rosters. Any experience within Crew Planning or Crew Training departments with knowledge of fatigue risk management principles would be an advantage. You'll need to be able to demonstrate an understanding of EASA.ORO.FTL and experience of working under your own initiative, to tight timescales, as well as being a supportive and effective team member.
Experience and Knowledge
- Knowledge of crew control and EASA FT
- Computer literate and demonstrated use of Crew Scheduling software
- Knowledge of MS Office applications
- Awareness of crew fatigue and Circadian Rhythm factors
- Knowledge of flight & cabin crew training requirements
- Sound commercial knowledge of the BACF operation
- Knowledge of AIMS Crew Management System
- Knowledge of Fatigue Risk Management System
- Proven experience in an airline Operations/Crewing
- Experience in handling the complexities of the operational environment, including crew union agreements, EU-Ops & FTL schemes
- Experience of making suggestions and implementing ways of improving efficiency and reducing costs
- Previous experience in Crew Training recovery/Crew Expiries.
- Knowledge of reservations system
