About the Role
In this role you’ll support the Finance Business Partner to deliver finance business partnering to the Engineering & Operations areas, supporting strategic decision-making and providing insight on financial performance.
This is a reporting focused role, ensuring accurate asset accounting is maintained, as well as being responsible for managing monthly reporting and forecasting, with variance analysis and commentary.
This is a hands-on role with varied scope providing all aspects of accounting and financial support to key business areas responsible for significant cost budgets.
About You
You’ll need to be studying for an accounting qualification (CIMA Operational level or equivalent), have previous experience working within an accounting function and of performing reconciliations, calculating accruals and prepayments.
You’ll need strong Excel and analytical skills and be able to demonstrate working under your own initiative, to tight timescales, as well as being a supportive and effective team member.
