In this role, you will: *

  • Provide leadership and act as an Azure SME within the team and have influence over the design, implementation, and support of the infrastructure
  • Deploy, tune, and maintain services and applications in Windows, Linux, and containerized hosts
  • Monitor server and application performance, resource utilization, and security/compliance
  • Perform ongoing performance tuning, infrastructure upgrades, and resource optimization
  • Have an ability to manage through ambiguity and multi-task across competing priorities
  • Partner with operational leaders and management on outages, providing technical and subject matter expertise
  • Research and recommend innovations and, where possible, automate management of cloud environments
  • Strong understanding of application, server and network security
  • Orchestrating and automating cloud-based platforms throughout the company
  • Perform advanced problem determination and root-cause-analysis
  • Prepare disaster recovery plans

What we look for:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of related experience with Azure Cloud.
  • Strong understanding across Cloud and infrastructure components (server, storage, network, security, data, and applications) to deliver end-to-end Cloud Infrastructure architectures and designs
  • Exposure to Kubernetes and Docker architecture
  • Experience securely connecting public cloud resources
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of cloud financial management and cloud cost optimization strategies
