Job description
We are currently looking to recruit an Infrastructure Designer/ GIS Technician on behalf of our client based in Stockton-on-Tees, however the role may require international travel.
The main duties include:
- Developing the GIS drawings as per the civil, structural and geographical for the tender/project.
- Coordinating with the structural/architectural …etc engineers to produce the drawings with the set specifications
- Design or prepare graphic representations of GIS data, using GIS hardware or software applications, according to current standards.
- Enter data into GIS databases, using techniques such as coordinate geometry, keyboard entry of tabular data, manual digitizing of maps, scanning or automatic conversion to vectors, or conversion of other sources of digital data.
Personal Requirements:
- Proven experience/knowledge of GIS, CAD, PDF & Photoshop
- Good PC skills & familiar with Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, Power Point
- Experience in carrying out detailed site surveys and providing technical designs
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
