A bit about the job:
Working in the Data, Analytics Platforms (DAP) infrastructure team you will be responsible for contributing to the development of centralised design patterns that can be used across Life, GI and other Aviva business areas. Translating change requirements into Aviva Cloud Solutions that will enable Aviva to transform its performance & support its strategic change agenda. Evaluating new Cloud based solutions and technologies to help shape the wider technology strategy within DAP. You will also be involved with key stakeholders and hold good communication with them.

Aviva uses “smart-working”, and the person in this role will be based at: Norwich or Bristol.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- You have AWS architectural experience, preferably supported by AWS certifications. However, opportunity to achieve certification will be provided to the right candidate.
- You are a strong communicator with the ability to work across business and IT teams to provide solution options.
- You are skilled in reviewing and writing Cloud High Level Designs, Cloud Low Level Designs.
- You are comfortable in joining and leading technical sign-off meetings.
- Preferably, you have proven experience in integrating various cloud (SaaS and PaaS) solutions as well as on-premise applications.
What you’ll get for this role:
- Salary circa £55,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
