AV Installation Manager

The Role:
As the AV Installations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of high-end Smart Home technology. You will work closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure that all installations are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest possible standards. You will also be responsible for managing a team of highly skilled engineers, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals and advance their careers.
- Installation of termination panels for data, speaker, and control cables.
- Mounting racks and connecting them to termination panels on site.
- Lighting control systems such as Lutron, Crestron, and Control 4
- Installation of audio visual equipment including televisions, projectors, speakers, and ancillary hardware.
- Terminating cables and install high-end amplifiers and receivers.
- High-end cinema installations such as motorised projection screens/drops, in-wall speakers, and subwoofers.
- Control systems installation of touch panels, gateways, and remote controls.
- Door entry systems installation of external and internal panels for 2N, C4, and BPT.
- CCTV installation of cameras from Lilin and Axis.
- Wi-Fi and network solutions deployment including installation of WAPs and ensuring proper patching into switches.
The Person:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in AV installations, as well as a strong technical background in AV equipment and systems.
- An excellent communicator, able to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Building productive relationships with people across all levels is essential, as the role involves interacting with end clients, interior designers, client representatives, builders, electricians, technical subcontractors, and project teams.
- Applicants must have a full and clean driving license
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as you will be required to write daily reports, including progress reports
- High standards of work with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven experience of guiding and training junior engineers.
- Lighting Control (Lutron/Crestron/Control4)
- CCTV (Lilin)
- Data & Wi-Fi (Cisco, Ruckus, Draytek),
- Blinds Control, HVAC Integration, Door/Gate Entry (BPT)
- CEDIA EST2 qualification - highly desirable
