AV Application Support Engineer - £40,000 to £45,000 - London
Working for a leading UK based AV company, we are looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer to be a key part of our London team, representing our client and working onsite at a leading Global Investment Bank.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of back end of applications Crestron Fusion, Cabletime and Digital Signage
- Manging and sending security/OS and network related vulnerabilities for remediation for applications Crestron Fusion, Cabletime and Digital Signage.
- Managing user access and revocations for applications Cabletime and Digital Signage Resolving Non Permitted technology flags for software hosted on services related to applications Crestron Fusion, Cabletime and Digital Signage.
- Oversee weekend patching on the weekends when the production environment is being patched for applications Crestron Fusion, Cabletime and Digital Signage.
- Every Sunday following patching works ensuring checks on applications Crestron Fusion, Cabletime and Digital Signage have been conducted and to inform the business the applications are BAU for Monday.
- To complete projects requested from the business as per the BOW for applications Crestron Fusion, Cabletime and Digital Signage in the timeframe agreed.
- Actioning RISE deliverables Items for applications Cabletime and Digital Signage, the deliverables are compliance driven to ensure applications are falling within the constraints of the latest compliant regulations.
- Supporting and conduct Data recovery exercises/events for applications Crestron Fusion, Cabletime and Digital Signage.
- Working with Vendors for any break/fix issues for applications Crestron Fusion, Cabletime and Digital Signage.
- Manage and implement installs of new room booking panels on Crestron Fusion application for EMEA liaising with AV technicians in region.
- Attend weekly Telepresence calls from Cisco to ensure their weekend changes require AV resource for validations for post changes to TP.
- Attendance on weekly RISK calls and actioning any urgent P1/P2 patching requests. Support Viewscreens team with any backend queries or special user requirements for applications Crestron Fusion, Cabletime and Digital Signage.
- Ensure change requests are raised correctly in line with the banks change requirements standards, changes to application based software requires CRQ’s raised.
- Work along side the SQL team for any changes or requests required to the SQL database for Digital Signage application.
- Soak test new devices and technology process for applications Crestron Fusion, Cabletime and Digital Signage.
- White list new devices to the network for applications Crestron Fusion, Cabletime and Digital Signage.
- Manage key processes and drawing documents for applications Crestron Fusion, Cabletime and Digital Signage on the engineering SP.
- Accessing servers regularly for Digital signage application to ensure housekeeping of CPU memory is not getting to critically low
