WAREHOUSE – JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an enthusiastic warehouse operative to join our friendly team. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and good communication skills to flourish in our fast-paced working environment. This is a physically active role — you will be on your feet for most of the day, as well as lifting, picking, and packing products for deliveries.

Please note this role is a mix of general warehouse/forklift duties, it may also require work within the production hall.

AVAILABILITY

Start date- ASAP

The role is full-time Monday to Friday on site — may include weekend & shift work in the future

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Warehouse Operative will support the team in the following tasks:

· Unloading of vehicles and checking in the stock

· Accurately pick orders using a handheld terminal

· Picking, Packing and shipping efficiently and carefully — helping to ensure that customers and suppliers receive the items in an excellent condition

· Pick, Pack and receive transfer orders from warehouse to production hall

· Work with customers and haulage companies to arrange booking in slots and shipping

· Receiving and packing away deliveries

· Operating Counterbalance, reach truck and pump trucks in the correct way to manoeuvre stock in the warehouse from inbound to pallet storage location.

· General housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe working environment

· Perform stock cycle counts and update inventory accordingly

· Ensure up to date on all company SOP’s and adhere to these

· Adhere to all health and safety requirements

· When required to work in the production facility as part of the packaging line or within the product disassemble area. This could include Rip and Tip of product when this project is running.

ABOUT YOU

· Extremely organised and takes pride in maintaining processes with accuracy

· Strong communication skills and the ability to build excellent relationships with all team members and management

·Experience of working in a production line environment

· Adaptable nature and thrives well under pressure

· An eye for detail and accuracy is essential

· Qualified FLT Counterbalance License

· Computer skills are desirable for using the computerised warehouse system
