Job Title: Automotive Operative / Workshop Assistants
Job Location: Burnaston, Derby
Pay Rate: £12.50 days, £14.88 afternoons

Gi Group works with British Car Auctions, based in Burnaston, DE1 9TH at the Car Plant next to Toyota.

We are looking for Automotive Operatives / Workshop Assistants to check and alter new cars to new specs, full training provided, starting with immediate effect.

Responsibilities

• Working in a nice clean environment indoors
• Always adhering to standard work processes
• Manual lifting car parts
• Completing finishing touches on the new cars
• Using hand tools to fit new parts
• Plug in diagnostics and monitor computer processes

Requirements

• Working day and night shifts on 2 weeks rota 0700 to 1530 & 1600 to 0030
• Full UK driving licence (with no more than 6 points) is essential
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• A very tidy and organised manner
• Excellent timekeeping and attendance record
• The ability to work under your own initiative when required

Pay Rates:

• Days - £12.50 p/h
• Days Overtime - £18.75 p/h

• Afternoons - £14.88 p/h
• Afternoons Overtime - £22.31 p/h

• Saturday - £18.75 p/h
• Sunday - £25.00 p/h
