About the role
Due to expansion, Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for an AUTOMOTIVE MECHANIC to join our Asset & Technology Solutions business unit based at our fantastic IRTE accredited site at Shotts, Scotland. The role is for a flexible 39 hours a week.
Role Purpose:
- The safe and effective service repair and maintenance of Cars & Light Commercial Vehicles.
What you'll be doing
You will have the following accountabilities:
- To ensure the highest standard/quality of workmanship on all maintenance requirements, repair on car, light and specialist vehicles;
- Be exceeding of customer expectations;
- To ensure that a safe system of work is always carried out and in line with the Company’s health, safety, environmental and quality procedures.
Who we're looking for
You will have the following:
- experience in monthly accounts - productivity and vehicle down time;
- quality output in all maintenance and repair activities;
- able to complete administrative duties in a timely and accurate manner;
- be in receipt of customer commendations;
- possess a zero accident frequency rate and lost time injury rate.
