Due to ongoing expansion, Alten Ltd is looking for a Test and Development Engineer to join our team in Oxford within the Automotive sector. This is a fantastic chance to join a fast-growing company with strong core values of; Excellence, Accountability, Integrity and Service.

Your new role:

As a Test and Development Engineer you will be one of our consultants performing on one of our major engineering projects in the UK. You will also be contributing to our development and growth within the Automotive industry.

As Test and Development Engineer your main responsibilities will be:

· Leading the general development test requirements of engines and motors

· Assisting product development requirements

· Driving the Product Development based on failure analysis

· Ensuring quality standards are controlled and monitored sufficiently

· Ensuring processes are delivered to schedule

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for Engineering, with a result-oriented and proactive mind-set. The successful candidate will have the chance to work on several exciting projects throughout their career with Alten, developing their engineering knowledge as a Test and Development Engineer and a consultant.

Experience required:

· Experience with Motor/Electric Motor testing and failure analysis

· Experience in Dynamometer Testing

· Knowledge of MATLAB

· Knowledge of CANoe

· Relevant experience of AC motor and controller powertrains.

Qualifications required:

Degree in a relevant engineering discipline with demonstrable experience.
