Right now, Aquarius Family Drug and Alcohol Safeguarding Service, is looking for a Data Administrator to join our team. Based in the Derby, our enhanced substance misuse family safeguarding team specialises in reducing the harms caused to children and families as a result of parental substance misuse whilst improving parenting ability and family functioning to reduce family breakdown.
Aquarius work with families and young people across a range of home and community settings supporting parents to build insight into the impact of parental substance misuse whilst developing safety and risk management strategies to minimise risk to the wider family.
We are looking for a flexible individual with proven experience of working in a similar role to join our friendly team. Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for helping the team of practitioners with the maintenance and reporting of our client databases. As well as uploading data, you will be the first point of contact for referrals into the service and be confident liaising with professionals and clients to support with service queries.
As well as strong data manipulation and analysis skills, you’re proficient using Microsoft Office applications, specifically, Word, Excel, Access and Outlook and have a working knowledge of Windows files and folders. You also have an understanding of electronic and manual diaries and the intranet. The ability to communicate clearly and appropriately, in writing, face-to-face or on the telephone, with people from a wide range of social and cultural backgrounds is also required, as is awareness of data protection and client confidentiality. Great at multi-tasking, you’re happy to use your initiative when carrying out basic administrative tasks. What’s more, you’re able to work in a sensitive, non-judgmental and confidential way with people who may have alcohol, drug and child safeguarding issues.
The salary for this role is £18,461 with progression to £19,890 pro rata per annum.

This is a permanent part time role requiring the post holder to work 25 hours per week and be available to work in an office environment during office hours between Monday to Friday. We can negotiate with the successful candidate working pattern to meet the 25 hours requirement.
