FEV UK is the subsidiary of FEV Europe for the British market covering the UK customers and together with our global teams we deliver projects. From our modern UK test and engineering centre in Coventry we work on exciting e-powertrain projects contributing to significant reduction in CO2 in transportation and mobility.
Your new role
As our Automotive Engineer, you will be working on projects suited to your skills in an exciting vehicle test and development environment.
Due to the variety of projects, we are looking for Automotive Engineers who have experience in testing automotive systems or working in a systems engineering environment. This can include, but not limited to; engineering collaboration, software testing, test calibration, transmission calibration, HIL, Powertrain, data logging.
We are looking for someone who is degree qualified, have relevant project experience in an automotive, engineering or aerospace industry, working within an agile project environment.
Other responsibilities will include, but not limit to;
Calibrate, test and validate e-powertrain controls system- Specification and automation of test cases in close coordination with the function developers
- Execution of automated and manual tests on HiLs and in vehicles
- Creation of test reports, analysis of quality defects, tracking of quality defects found and communication
- Knowledge of programming language (e.g. Python, CAPL, Matlab, Simulink)
What you will get in return
Salary banding £30,000 - £50,000 per annum;
- £30,000 - £40,000 (2 – 5 years’ experience)
- £40,000 - £50,000 (5 years plus experience)
