The role holder will report to one of the IT lead within the Automation Team and will be responsible for all testing activities, which will be used to streamline business changes as well as the ongoing changes/enhancements.
The difference you’ll make.
Providing testing end to end from development to postproduction.
Delivering Automated testing scripts aligned to the Bank’s business and technical architecture strategies in collaboration with technical and business teams.
Reporting Testing status to a Software engineering manager and interacting with a product owner and business stakeholders.
Ensuring software engineers build agreed solution, test, and implement to highest standards besides team sticks to Bank methodology driven scrum practises.
Analysing and testing clear and concise requirements through working closely with IT and Business
Managing incidents with clear and concise incident tickets/bugs.
What you’ll bring.
Experience in Automation testing using the following software tools – Cucumber frameworks, Rest Assured, Postman, JMeter, Intellij, Jenkins, GIT, JIRA, Xray.
Strong expertise and experience in industry test automation tools, implementing tool frameworks, industry best practice, and coding standards. Demonstrable experience of test automation.
Ability to test complex business and technical use cases, exposure to API testing and microservice based architecture.
It would also be nice for you to have.
Previous experience as a Automation Tester working in Banking & Finance Domain
Experience in Testing applications in cloud environments.
Knowledge of working with a framework such as Spring Framework
Performance Testing using JMETER
Knowledge of Java, Jenkins, Open Shift, Kubernetes, Dev Ops, Soap UI is beneficial.

This role is currently Milton Keynes/Home based Hybrid working .

The typical shift pattern is Monday to Friday 9-5, but we can offer some flexibility on case by case basis.
