Job Title: Autism Teaching Assistant Location: Dagenham , East London Salary Scale: up to £90 a day Start Date: ASAP : Temp to Perm GSL Education is currently looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant for one of our client Primary schools in Dagenham, East London. The school is looking for someone who can start ASAP and has experience working with ASD individuals and small groups of Autistic children. About Autism Teaching Assistant Role: You will be working closely Year 1 to motivate and encourage ASD children to reach their full potential. Supporting children with special educational needs Provide 1:1 individual support for a range of Autistic children Ideal candidates will: Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant. Be able to support pupils who have Autism Have basic understanding of childhood development and steps to support children Have knowledge and able to implement strategies to support ASD children Have Good communication and interpersonal skills.
