King Edward VII Academy is recruiting for reliable and hardworking people to join our exam invigilation team. We are looking for people who can be available on a casual and flexible basis to invigilate external and internal examinations. The role also involves providing assistance as scribes or readers to students who need extra support in exams.
The main examination period is May and June but there are other times throughout the year when invigilators are required.
The role holder will ensure exams are carried out fairly and in accordance with the rules set out by the examination board. Previous experience would be helpful although not essential, as training will be provided. Computer literacy is important as you will be required to work with a computer on occasion.
We do require a commitment that you will be available for mock exams (November and March) and May and June which is our peak period for examinations.
