This is excellent opportunity to join a dynamic, supportive team. The right candidate will be the first-contact for many patients, ensuring a smooth and understanding approach to patient-care. You will support the clinical team in delivering excellent care.
This is a part-time role, offering 18.75 hours as a Thursday/Friday 08:00-18:00 or Wednesday (1/2 day), Thursday and Friday (8.30 - 17.00).
The audiology reception team manage enquiries from patients and GPs, assessing clinical need, and making appropriate appointments. This may be by phone, fax, email, text, or in person.
You will be the first person patients and visitors to the department are greeted by, and will log patients arrivals via the specialist patient database system
You will replace hearing aid batteries and associated small components – these may need to be fitted to hearing aids
You will support the clinical team, ordering supplies and arranging stock management.
