Job description
As our DevOps Engineer, the key duties are:

Establishing common reusable IT services and patterns for Access Management for both internal and external customers.

Enhancing the automation and testing of our deployed components (CI/CD), with AWS pipelines to improve our IAM journeys for our both our developers and customers.

Contributing to the continuous improvement and development of the Corporate Identity and Access Management DevOps team and the services they provide.
- Operationally supporting, maintaining and lifecycling Access Management applications and associated technologies.
We operate an on-call roster in Technology to provide 24/7/365 support to respond to operational service requirements. This post may be part of an on-call roster and the postholder would be required to participate in an on-call roster where in operation.

Essential Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:

Enthusiasm and experience of pushing the boundaries of computer science and a positive attitude to making a difference.

A working knowledge of one or more programming languages, ideally Python, Java, NodeJS or web development capabilities.
-
Strong communication skills with evidence of an organised and structured approach to your work and ability to work within a team environment.
- A genuine interest and drive in solving complex technical problems, often within the constraints of an operational environment.
Desirable Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:

- Knowledge of AWS and/or Azure Cloud services OR the desire to work toward certification in AWS /Azure.
Benefits
In addition you will be paid £2,500 per annum as a market supplement to reflect the demand for your skills. You will be paid this market driven allowance from April 2022 until March 2024 in your monthly pay whilst performing this role.
Your total reward package is potentially worth up to £45,625 annually, which includes basic salary, market supplement, potential corporate bonus and employer pension contributions.
