About us and the role
We are looking for an experienced Attendance and SENDCo Assistant to assist in monitoring attendance and managing the provision for special education needs learning support.
Avanti Gardens School is part of the growing family of Avanti schools. What will you do?
- Ensure daily attendance registers are accurate and complete, and follow up with staff members about any incomplete data
- Manage the process of issuing penalty notices to parents
- Support the identification and provision of special educational needs within the school.
- Liaise with parents/carers regarding their children’s needs

What are we looking for?
- Experience working in a school environment or other educational setting
- Experience identifying interventions to raise attendance of pupils
- Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all students
- Experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
