Job Title: Atlassian Technical Support
Location: New Malden (Portsmouth, Frimley or Dorchester also considered) - We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role
Salary: Up to £48,473 depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Systems administration of Atlassian tool set including setting up projects
- Integrate enterprise systems with project systems
- Define best practice in working with Atlassian products
- Update COTS software on a semi regular basis
- Support projects with Atlassian queries including setting up projects within the tool set
- Investigate potential issues
- Keep up to date in relevant technical areas, develop skills and capabilities to be able to provide more effective services
- Provide help and direction to less experienced team members to support both their effective working and their development
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- STEM related degree (science, technology, engineering, maths) OR equivalent experience
- Knowledge and experience in working with Atlassian or equivalent toolchains
- Familiar with Windows 7/10/Server 2008/2012/2016 functionality
- Ability to methodically investigate a symptom to understand and isolate the root cause
Desirable:
- Experience with webserver-based COTS application installations and management
- Atlassian University Certificates
- Linux experience

The Infrastructure Team:
The purpose of your role is to integrate our enterprise infrastructure, our Dev-Ops platforms and be a system administrator for tools available to Naval Ships projects. Your role will involve working with projects to set up agile tasking environments, undertaking application upgrades as well as define and enforce best practices of the tool set.
