We are currently looking to recruit an Associate to join our expanding Life Sciences and Innovation team. Knight Frank are advising investor, developer and occupier clients in the expanding life sciences and innovation sector providing unique insight of this expanding sector. This role will give you an opportunity to work closely with the Department Head and market facing specialists within Knight Frank providing sector specific advice on development and leasing, investor and occupier opportunities and sourcing new business in the sector, via an existing and expanding client base. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on some really exciting projects across London and the South East including new pipeline development , repurposing of offices into labs and existing and potential occupier business combining with our US partner, Cresa who work only with occupiers.


In the Associate, Life Sciences position you will be responsible for:


  • Building strong relationships with new clients
  • Utilise existing client relationships to generate fee income for the firm
  • Connecting with clients on business generation opportunities
  • Support and analysis of the occupier markets, leasing and marketing instructions, development consulting and specialist input to capital markets transactions
  • Providing high quality client advice
  • Attending events to promote the department and firm amongst clients and professional organisations
  • Interfacing with our dedicated Research team to analyse market data and sector specific research

To be successful in the Associate, Life Sciences and innovation role you will be / have:


  • Ideally MRICS qualified
  • An understanding of the occupier markets, leasing and marketing, development consulting and capital markets transactions- experience in the laboratory, science sector is advantageous
  • The ability to either develop or establish a network of client connections in the sector and work with the team to broaden connections and profile of the services offered.
  • Competent at writing detailed and accurate reports
