Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced leader to join our revenue-focused, data-driven marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding our partner marketing strategy and tactics to drive revenue growth. You'll own cross-sell/upsell campaigns, onboard marketplace partners, and help them tell their story to our reseller channel as well as to our direct customers.
To succeed, you'll make decisions and draw insightful conclusions based on qualitative and quantitative data. You'll examine our processes and recommend improvements. You'll work closely with our partner teams from both the PrismHR and the VensureHR business units to meet revenue expectations for marketplace partners. You'll help us tell a broader story through webinars, blog posts, whitepapers, updated web pages, and talking directly with indirect and direct customers. Most of all, you should be interested in frequently experimenting, constantly improving, and not being afraid to make mistakes. You'll work with a team of like-minded individuals who make it a point to learn more every day.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Market intelligence—be the expert on our buyers and our partners' buyers: who they are, how they buy, and their key buying criteria.
- Own and organize partner upsell and cross-sell programs and initiatives.
- Understand and support our sales channels, then collaborate with sales enablement to train them on the problems our partner marketplace solves via internal tools and external collateral (i.e. one-pagers, sales decks, cheat sheets)
- In collaboration with our partner teams and our sales team, run programs to drive adoption of our marketplace products broadly across our indirect channels, and more deeply within the SMBs those channels serve.
- Assess the effectiveness of the marketing programs that support your products on an ongoing basis, and report back to the business on required changes.
- Support the development and maintenance of marketing processes, including maintaining marketing databases, updating partner profiles, onboarding and promoting new partners, and managing data hygiene.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with internal stakeholders and customers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations.
- Innovative and willing to take risks. You aren't okay with the status quo and bring new ideas to the table.
- Good attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
- Ability to form solid relationships with team members in the technical, sales, creative, and business worlds.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Passion for marketing and a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in partner marketing, channel marketing, demand generation, and/or customer marketing.
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation systems, such as Salesforce, HubSpot, and Marketo, are a plus.
