Associate Director – Landscape & Urban Design

With a growing pipeline of new clients and projects already secured, we are undergoing an exciting growth period. We are looking to expand our Landscape & Urban Design service by recruiting an additional Associate Director who will lead/manage commissions and help grow and develop a North Region design team, whilst ensuring we exceed our clients’ expectations.
You will currently be in a similar role or have demonstrable experience looking for the next career move. You will have at least 14 years’ experience in Landscape & Urban Design and substantial experience delivering public realm projects in the UK.
Based in our Edinburgh office, you will use your experience and industry knowledge to develop and grow the team, deliver high quality designs, assist in bidding, add value to the business and establish long term relationships with existing and new clients. Programme and financial control are key requirements of role. You will also contribute towards the direction of the business to help us to achieve our business plan, goals and objectives.

Requirements of the role:

- Ensure commissions are delivered on time and within budget and that the liaison with clients and business contacts is exceptional.

Our ideal candidate will have but not be limited to:
- Degree in Landscape Architecture and/or Urban Design
- Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (highly recommended)
- Strong multidisciplinary knowledge (e.g. Engineering, Traffic, Lighting, etc)
- Demonstrable experienced in UK public realm delivery in both local authority and private sector
- Wide range of skills and projects including town centre regeneration, streetscape, green infrastructure and parks
