Corporate and Institutional Banking(CIB) is an origination and coverage business operating across the UK and North America focused on serving the needs of Mid and Large Cap clients. The business leads with a sector and relationship focus, whilst maintaining UK regional delivery through hubs in London, Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Leeds and Manchester.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Associate of Corporate Cash Management & Payments to join our London based team. You'll help to manage a strong profile in the marketplace to identify and deliver high quality new business opportunities by utilising GTB products for both new and existing bank clients. This is a phenomenal opportunity to join a front office/client facing team.
Your accountabilities will include:
- Learn and develop sales and relationship skills and techniques
- Learn about innovation and change in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Directly assist senior sales colleagues in managing day-to-day client relationships
- Analyse client needs & deliver prescribed financial products by performing origination activities in line with sales colleagues
- Identify & improve processes, systems & procedures, developing successful solutions
- Keep track of risk parameters; Identify & report major deviation to senior colleagues whilst working within risk management systems
- Analyse specified problems to find the best client outcomes
- Production & compliant storage of client documentation to meet Bank standards
- Tariff management – identify fee income increase opportunities by strong analysis of the client invoice process
- Develop ability to analyse client data in order to rectify issues
- Support seniors with Request for Proposal process
- Build strong network with key day-to-day customers across sales, coverage, product, service and implementation teams
Essential skills:
- Basic knowledge of the cash management & payments landscape
- Strong teammate with the ability to work to deadlines
- Good technical capabilities across MS product suite
