Job title: Desktop Support Analyst
Contract type: Permanent
Location: London
Salary: Grade 4, £32,699 - £34,000 per annum. Appointments for this role will generally be made at £34,000, depending on skills and experience.
Working arrangements: 35 hours a week, you’ll agree your working pattern with your manager, Monday to Friday. Hybrid working, with a minimum of 6 days per month in the office
Purpose and scope
As part of the IT services team, the desktop support analyst provides desktop technical support for all RCP IT services to all RCP IT service users. Responsibilities include; handling incidents or service requests using the incident reporting and request fulfilment processes.
As a RCP desktop support analyst you should have a can-do, optimistic attitude and have a strong working knowledge of IT service operation, transition and continual service improvement. You will have a strong commitment to developing your IT knowledge and skills and a commitment to strive for service excellence.
You should have significant experience in a similar role (including Microsoft SCCM, VMWare and Microsoft Teams), have in depth knowledge of both Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac OS, be educated to A level or professional standard (e.g. ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) and have excellent spoken and written English.
