About you
We are looking for a hardworking and driven individual to join the busy Agency and Professional teams at our Scunthorpe and Grimsby offices. We are able to offer a distance learning apprenticeship route training package to allow progression towards qualification as a Chartered Surveyor and will cover the education costs with support and guidance being provided from the team including the directors. You will be exposed to a diverse workload whichwill give you superb experience towards yourtraining and future career development.
About the role
The main duties of the role are as follows:
- To carry out property inspections/viewings, prepare client reports and conduct transactional negotiations.
- Dealing with telephone/email/face-to-face enquiries.
- Assist with Marketing providing suggestions and online communication.
- To be a strong and effective negotiator on the client’s behalf and to develop effective and long-lasting relationships with our clients.
- To use good organisational skills to manage and prioritise a busy and developing caseload.
- To provide general practice support for the team as required.
- To develop and maintain a strong network of internal and external contacts and to use these contacts, in order to further develop business for our clients.
- Support the team in the preparation of valuation advice across both commercial and residential property, principally for secured lending, in line with RICS Red Book requirements.
- Support the team in providing advice to clients on rent review, lease renewal and other Landlord and Tenant matters.
Role requirements:
- Proven IT skills, including high-level Microsoft Word and Excel competencies.
- Well organised, efficient, using initiative and working to tight deadlines.
- Good written/communication skills with an eye for detail.
- A commitment to excellence and developing strong client relationships.
- Able to prioritise workload and to work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to work within a small multi-disciplinary team, with excellent communication skills both oral and written.
- Full UK driving licence with use of own car – business expenses paid.

Starting salary: Upon Application
Company benefits: Training & development, 25 days holiday annually, increasing to 30 days after two years. Mileage expenses paid at 45p per mile.
Location: Princess House, Arkwright Way, Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, DN16 1AD. The role will be full-time office based, Monday - Friday 9am-5:30 pm
Start details: Start date is flexible, you will be required to work in the office (following up to date government COVID guidelines).
