Assistant Team Manager - Ref: CH09322
Salary: G8 £32,909 – £37,261 per annum
Contract: Permanent / 37 hours
An opportunity has arisen to join Walsall’s Therapeutic Family Time and Intervention Team. The role will be based at Fallings Heath, Wednesbury.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual who will be committed to supporting the delivery of Family Time for Children and their families.
We require candidates who are committed and enthusiastic about improving outcomes for Children and Young People in Walsall.
The team is comprised of a Team Manager, a Contact Coordinator and Supervised Contact Officers offering high quality Family Time for children, who are looked after by the Local Authority, and their families.
We are passionate about being open, honest and transparent with families and work in a way that builds on the families’ strengths and seek a candidate who will embrace this way of working.
The Family Time & Intervention Service form part of the Safeguarding Social Work teams, allowing for close working relationships with social work colleagues.

Completion of an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check is a requirement for this role.
For this role the successful candidate must undergo a Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check. BPSS is the minimum standard to ensure the identify and integrity of an employee who has access to official information using secure networks linking central governments and local authorities. A BPSS check involves four main elements; Identity Check, National and Immigration Status, Employment History (last 3 years) and Verification of Criminal Record (unspent convictions only).
