About the role
Acting as a point of contact for both staff and students, the role sits within the department’s Teaching and Learning team and will support the Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering (CEGE) department in the professional planning, effective delivery and evaluation of programmes within the student lifecycle. The role will also proactively support an inclusive, caring and supportive student experience.
About you
You will provide efficient and professional administrative support to the STLA (UG), Teaching and Learning administrators and other designated staff with support for all aspects of teaching and learning activities. This will include assisting in achieving a high quality and timely service to current and prospective students, and staff relating to the designated courses/programmes and beyond. You will also provide support for all matters relating to the teaching and learning activities of students from enquiry to completion, incorporating supporting committees and processes relating to assessment, student and course/programme records. There will be interaction with many people within and external to UCL thus a professional attitude, willingness to help and a positive outlook are required in order to adequately execute the duties outlined. The relationships you build will be intrinsic to the success of your role. This will include engaging with Faculty and Central services colleagues to maximise opportunities for the department, as well as working alongside other members of the professional services team so that together we can support our academic colleagues and students.
