We are seeking an Assistant Supervisor to assist the Supervisor in leading a team of 13 within our estates sector.
The role is based in Coventry but also working across the Birmingham, Worcester & Hereford areas. You will have good planning skills, be able to problem solve and implement changes where necessary.
You will need to work with other Assistant Supervisors within the Estates Team to successfully deliver the diverse workload where no two days are ever the same.
In housing you can make a real difference, the role of Assistant Supervisor will involve:
- Leading & assisting in first line management of the estates team.
- Undertaking performance development reviews, one to ones and return to work interviews
- Delivering a high level of service throughout the process
- Implementing change to ensure completion of your team’s challenging daily workload
- Proactively being health & safety conscious
- Ensure the undertaking of removal of bulk rubbish, void clearance, unblocking of bin chutes, Pest Control, PAT testing and various other duties
- Deliver the highest level of conduct, leading by example and demonstrating Citizen key aims, values and objectives
As Assistant Supervisor we need you to have:
- Previous managerial experience
- Excellent communication and planning skills
- Optimistic & solutions focused mentality
- Flexible, adaptable and a can-do attitude
- Leadership & motivational skills

- BICS or similar qualification in cleaning
