Assistant Site Manager, Main Contractor, West London
We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager to join a team based in Feltham for an exciting new project. They are working on a £5.5 million Passivhaus scheme comprising approximately 25 units spread across 7 sites. With demolition work underway and a Project Manager on-site, they are looking to add a dedicated Assistant Site Manager to their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Management: Assist in the management of day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project progresses according to schedule and within budget.
- Passivhaus Knowledge: While not mandatory, a background or interest in Passivhaus construction principles is highly desirable as this project focuses on sustainability and energy efficiency.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control on-site, adhering to Passivhaus standards.
- Safety: Prioritize and enforce strict safety measures to ensure a secure working environment for all workers and visitors.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Knowledge or interest in Passivhaus construction is a significant advantage.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction management are a plus.
