Under the general supervision of the Traffic Manager, the Rate Clerk classifies freight and rates and corrects freight bills.
Responsibilities
- Provides rates quotes.
- Data enter pricing and customer information.
- Applies accessorial revenue.
- Processes overcharges.
- Processes incentive allowances.
- Performs other duties as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- Rating experience
- Transportation experience
- Knowledge of AS400
- Knowledge of National Motor Freight Class
Pay Rate: $18.31 - $23.38 per hour, based on experience
