JOB TITLE: Assistant Shop Manager (Hartford)

HOURS: 22.5 hours on a rota 3 days across a trading week, Mon-Sat

Salary: £9.70 per hour (pending review)

RESPONSIBLE TO: Shop Manager

ACCOUNTABLE TO: Steven Holmes – Retail operations Manager

We are recruiting for a passionate and energetic person to work in our Hartford shop

Working three days / 22.5 hours per week including alternative Saturdays you will be part of a brilliant team which raises money for St Luke’s Hospice.

Our trading business is an important part of the income generation and fundraising department and plays a vital role in working in and with our community to ensure we can support the fantastic work carried out at the Hospice.

You will preferably have experience of the charity retail sector or high street retail at unit manager level with an understanding of how a busy retail unit works and bring the skills required to continue the success of the Hartford shop.

You will help support a large group of volunteers so people skills are an important skill that will be vital in your success.

Previous knowledge of Gift Aid and Epos till systems would be an advantage.

You will be part of the trading team and will work alongside other team members across trading to help and support the work of the hospice.

St Luke’s is an adult hospice based in Winsford that cares for people in mid and south Cheshire who are suffering from cancer and other life threatening illnesses. We offer specialist treatment, care, advice and support to many seriously ill people and their families every year.
