An exciting opportunity for an experienced assistant sales manager to join our team. You will have excellent earning potential working for a growing online retailer who has been operating for over 16 years selling a wide range of prestige home audio products this includes speakers, amplifiers, turntables and home cinema products mostly by phone, email, live chat and face-to-face in our showroom. The right candidate will able to build and maintain excellent relationships with our valued customer and must be a closer.
Starting basic salary of £19-21k with on target earnings OTE of £32k for hitting target sales levels.
EXCITING OPPORTUNITY
You will be working directly with our sales manager in our Digbeth showroom, this is mostly a desk based role - we do most of our business by email and phone, so you must have experience in such a position and be comfortable keeping focus when in such a scenario. You'll be working in a fast paced and challenging environment dealing with a variety of incoming enquiries, following up and closing customers interested in products and managing your time effectively to ensure you can get through everything required. You must be able to learn quickly, (with full training to support you) think on your feet, work under pressure and provide excellent service to customers.
JOB INVOLVES
- Calls, emails and live chats with customers already interested in buying (these are all varying degrees of warm leads, we don’t do cold calling)
- Using our advanced CRM software to actively chase and close warm leads and also run campaigns alerting customers to products which may be of interest to them.
- Always looking for opportunities to assist our customer’s needs, upselling and ensuring they are comfortable and happy with our service.
- An enthusiastic nature towards sales and personal drive to not only grow the business but your own career.
- Opportunity to carve out niche in other sales avenues such as spearheading our B2B program.
- Dealing with a large number of calls/emails daily.
- Hit the targets and KPI’s set out for you.
- Getting the opportunity to learn about and use the products we sell.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- REQUIRED: 2+ years (desk based) sales experience, including track record of hitting/exceeding sales targets.
- REQUIRED: A focused and persistent individual who works well under pressure and within a desk based role.
- REQUIRED: Excellent written English and Math skills
- IDEALLY: A knowledge of the hi-fi and AV products is preferred (see www.audioaffair.co.uk) however we offer full training and support - all we ask is a willingness to learn.
