Assistant Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our Highways division, working on some exciting projects within NRTS. You will be working with our experienced Project Management team ensuring delays and changes to scheme works can be resourced accurately. This is a flexible working position, which offers the option to work remotely with occasional visits to our HQ in Warwick.
What you’ll do:
- Putting in place and maintaining a robust management processes (including contractual quotations and ordering processes)
- Review and Assessment of Sub-contractors applications, claims and associated charges.
Contractual quotation and ordering processes - Working with the project teams to ensure that all changes/additional costs/recoverable time and time extensions are processed correctly.
- Assisting the commercial team as required on any project related commercial activities on various forms of contract.
- Maintaining positive communications at all times with clients and internally within.
Key requirements:
- Previous experience within a civils / telecomms industry would be ideal, but not compulsory.
- Experience working in a Commercial Admin / Trainee or Assistant QS role
- Supply Chain knowledge is preferable
- Good communication, negotiation and reporting skills
- Strong MS Office skills, including Excel.
