An exciting vacancy has arisen for an assistant psychologist to join Revive; a specialist Emotional Health and well-being Team, a collaboration between East Lancashire Child and Adolescent Services and the Blackburn with Darwen local authority. The team, led by a principle clinical psychologist currently comprises also of a play therapist and 2 CAMHS practitioners.
Revive work directly and indirectly with children, young people and families in the care of the local authority, as well as supporting families subject to child in need or child protection plans. Revive also provide regular indirect work to systems supporting young people and families, including consultations, supervision, training and reflective practice to promote and support a trauma informed service delivery.
Advertised at full time but will accept applications for part time at 0.8 wte or above.
In addition to direct assessment, formulation and intervention with young people and families, the post-holder will have the opportunity to join the team to deliver consultations and training. It is also an exciting time for Revive as we continue to develop the service, expanding the use of outcome measures and reviewing service delivery, which the candidate will be expected to assist with.
There is an expectation for you to be mobile around the Blackburn with Darwen area, so access to private transport for work related purposes is essential.
